Four Slaloms and four Giant Slaloms each

In co-operation with the host country Great Britain, the local ski club WSV Pichl/Reiteralm successfully organised a FIS race marathon on Reiteralm. This race series also counted as National Scottish Ski Championships.
All in all there were eight FIS races for ladies and men, hence four Slaloms and four Giant Slaloms each. The races were held on the Gasselhöhe slope, the trainings on the Muldenlift ski-run.
On 6th and 7th January, the Slalom races took place. The Giant Slaloms were held on 8th and 9th January.
The best junior athletes from 20 countries competed in these races. At the Slalom, over 100 racers were at the start, and at the men's Giant Slalom, even 180 athletes competed - this was a new participant record.
The racers and their coaches were thrilled to find such perfect, World Cup suitable slope conditions on Reiteralm -
