Reiteralm invests in 6-seater SCHOBERBAHN chairlift
REITERALM - Schladming, 2020
Reiteralm boosts its ski resort with a new chairlift and ski run in winter 2020/2021. Set in the upper eastern area of the resort, the modern chairlift will start running this winter. With this investment, Reiteralm offers even more comfort, quality and skiing pleasure!
SCHOBERBAHN – even more skiing pleasure!
Goodbye Reiteralm III drag lift. Hello all-new, modern 6-seater Doppelmayer chairlift. With the new, longer chairlift, we can open up the ski run, creating a wide, easy ski run that invites for some fine carving turns, suitable for the entire family. It has modern snow-making facilities and, thanks to its altitude, will have natural early snow, too. Construction will finish before the start of 2020/2021 winter season.
SCHOBERBAHN – even MORE comfort!
The new Schoberbahn chairlift offers even more comfort following Doppelmayer’s slogan "D-Line – Welcome to First Class". Highly convenient, blissfully quiet and very quick, the chairlift has weather protection bubbles and seat heating. Settle in for a relaxing ride up the mountain with amazing panoramic views included. The upper and lower stations fit gently into the natural surroundings.
SCHOBERBAHN – some facts!
The new 6-seater chairlift by Doppelmayer replaces the Reiteralm III drag lift, and it is even longer. Its technical name is 6-CLD-B, a detachable 6-seater chairlift with bubbles. The Schoberbahn base station sits at 1,584 metres, and the top station at 1,810 metres, a difference in altitude of 226 metres. The journey takes 3.39 minutes, and its capacity is 2,400 people per hour using its 45 chairs between nine towers.
Reiteralm ski lift manager, Daniel Berchthaller says “We want our guests to have an even wider offer of comfortable ski lifts and even more choice of ski runs on the mountain. And we’re meeting that with the new 6-seater SCHOBERBAHN chairlift. With the construction of this modern ski lift, the whole of Schladming Dachstein wins, and there’s more skiing pleasure on our championship-proven ski runs”.
