Alpine Rose Bloom Festival
We, Reiteralm’s innkeepers, Schladming tourist office, and Reiteralm ski lifts, are once again celebrating our Reiteralm Festival!
Everything starts with an ecumenical mountain service at 11.15 am, accompanied by the Pichl Bläserquartett (brass band) and the Pichl-Mandling church choir.
After that, you are invited by Reiteralm’s mountain huts to enjoy some authentic live music. The traditional thigh-slappers, Pichler Plattler, will perform in their Lederhosen while you sample the best wines and try your luck in the exciting prize draw.
Our local farmers offer up a delicious buffet of Krapfen, alpine doughnuts both sweet and savoury.
Children are well catered for with box stacking, sausage grilling, handicrafts, and face painting.
The Reiteralm lake loop is ideal for a short stroll, and if you feel like a longer walk, tackle the gorgeous alpine tour along theGasslsee loop trail – probably one of the most beautiful hikes in the Schladming Tauern mountains with the popular photo opportunity at Spiegelsee (Mirror Lake). With the alpine rose in full bloom, this hike really is a treat.
The festival is on Reiteralm, which you can reach easily by car using the toll road, which is free with the Summercard.
On the day of the Alpine Rose Bloom Festival, the Preunegg Jet will be open. The base station is on Preuneggstraße.
PLEASE NOTE, on festival day, the Summercard is not valid for the Preunegg Jet.
During the festival, there are discounts on both the toll road and for a ride up on gondola.
Schladming tourist office, Reiteralm ski lifts and the innkeepers of Reiseralm’s mountain huts look forward to your visit!
