The Schladminger Ennstal valley lies before you - and the leisurely hiking trail no. 66 starts right next to it. Less than an hour later, after a walk through mountain pines and alpine roses, the highlight awaits: the Spiegelsee lake.
Its name is not without reason - the Dachstein triumvirate is reflected in the smooth water as if in a giant natural mirror. A place that is not only perfect for taking photos, but also for taking a deep breath, marveling and calming down.

Still waters

You are standing on a narrow wooden footbridge, surrounded by mountains. In front of you is a clear, quiet mountain lake - so calm that all you can hear is the wind and your breath.
Just a short hike from the Preunegg Jet mountain station is the start of the "Still Waters" themed trail. Not a classic excursion destination, but a place of retreat. A place where you can get away from it all, recharge your batteries and experience nature with all your senses.
The trail leads you to the green forest lake, on to the Glackerch moorland lake with its dragonfly footbridge - and finally to the natural jewel of Untersee. Along the way, resting benches, water playgrounds with water wheels and small message boards invite you to linger.
Whether on the raft by the lake or up on the viewing platform - here you can feel the peace, nature and water up close.
