FIS-CIT ARNOLD LUNN WORLDCUP 2017
2 Giant Slaloms
The International FIS-CIT Races were held in perfect weather and slope conditions on Saturday and Sunday, 14th and 15th January, 2017;
Over 200 athletes, ladies and men, from over 15 countries were at the start.
Two challenging Giant Slaloms, with 2 runs each, were held on the Muldenlift slope.
Racers from Japan, New Zealand, Argentina, as well as from European countries took place at these competitions.
Hermann Schützenhöfer (Governor of Styria), Jürgen Winter (Bürgermeister von Schladming) and Dr. Hermann Gruber (FIS-CIT committee, president of WSV) took the patronage of these high quality races.
Our local ski club, WSV Pichl-Reiteralm with chairman Karl Fischbacher and a highly motivated team professionally organised these CIT races. Technical deleguee was Elmar Gipperich (AUT) .
