Sepp’n Fest on 11th March 2017

Visitors from near and far enjoyed gorgeous sunshine and an entertaining programme of sports, fun, and live music at the 24th Sepp’n Fest 2017.

Sepp’n ski race & Sepp’n Ice Stock competition

In the morning, the Sepp’n ski race took place on Muldenlift ski-run, with perfect slope conditions to the end of the day. Josefa Profelt of Hallein and Sepp Lidl of Eben took the victory in this exciting Sepp’n ski race.

At midday, a friendly duel took place, when Styria’s Sepps challenged their name-mates from Salzburger Land at the ‘Roast’ Ice Stock competition - with a pork roast dish as reward. The Styrian Sepps, with captain Sepp Steiner of Rohrmoos, won all games, clearly defeating the Salzburger Land Sepps under captain Sepp Buchsteiner, mayor of Forstau. At the following Ice Stock target shooting, Sepp Haberl took the victory. After the sports events, the winners received their trophies at the prize-giving ceremony at the Jagastüberl.
